Romans 12:13 – Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality!

Here at Life Bridge Cedar Park we feel so blessed to be adopted by our neighbors and community businesses with meals so we can offer free lunches to our participants. Free meals are crucial to our ministry in that they provide sustenance and may oftentimes be the only meal some of our participants have that day. Our free lunch program also gives us time to sit and develop friendships and relationships with our participants, and mentoring happens over our meals. We want to take this time to sing the praises of some of the community businesses and individuals that have reached out and helped us this week:

The entire Kerr Family (members of Twin Lakes Fellowship) has blessed us in so many ways… by helping with our website, assisting with photography, serving at our celebrations and even donating a gift card to help with purchases of items we need in order to make food for our participants!

We are also excited to be a part of Chipotle’s leftover program for charities. We have already been able to make several delicious meals with the leftover chicken and beef they have blessed us with.chipotle logochipotle charity program

Lunch Volunteers Susan and PatsyFor the past two sessions, Susan and Patsy have made lunches and helped us serve our participants! Susan is an awesome cook and we so appreciate her service to the Life Bridge family. Both Susan and Patsy come from Northwest Fellowship Church.

Many other community churches have supported our participants by donating meals. These churches include: Great Hills Baptist Church, Hill Country Bible Church, ACTS Church and several others.

Reveal LogoWe also want to thank Reveal Ministries for their generosity in helping us with groceries to prepare meals for our participants and well as giving us breakfast pastries to serve when they arrive in the morning. Reveal also offers resources that many of our participants who are struggling financially have been able to benefit from.

These are just a few examples of how our community partners have been serving up good deeds and food for our participants. If you would like to join us in providing lunch or dinner for our participants while they attend our free job readiness/adult education classes, please contact Teresa Jones at 512.784.7824.

Many thanks in advance…
