Deuteronomy 2:7 – For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He knows you’re going through this great wilderness…

Car BlogIt is amazing to watch God bring the community of churches together to help us meet needs. We got a call from the pastor of Austin Christian Fellowship saying he had a church member wanting to donate a car. We did not know anyone with a need at the moment but told him we would certainly be able to use it. Then we heard from Mauri D. Gandy. She has been through some major storms this past year, including the loss of her husband. She and her late husband have blessed Life Bridge and many others in various ways these past few years. When we heard of her need for transportation, we knew the car was God’s provision for her. We celebrate her testimony below.

“Today I cried tears of joy like I’ve not had in over eight and a half months. My doctor said the bleed in my brain is healed. I still have some injury from the trauma but it will continue to heal as I get speech therapy. Just as I left the doctor’s office, I received a call from Monalisa Almanza at Life Bridge Job Corps saying a car is ready to be picked up from the Life Bridge ministry. It has been four months since I had the brain aneurysm and not been able to drive. We have been isolated, but God is awesome and I know He has great things continued for us. My oldest son is getting married tomorrow and it is going to be a time to rejoice! When the storm leaves it is time to celebrate!”Car Blog 2

The caring folks at Hill Country Bible Church, Austin blessed another of our participants, Crystal with great deal to buy a quality used car and helped with part of the expenses.  Crystal Thank You to HCBC

The volunteers at Life Bridge Job Corps work hard to help our participants in preparing for better paying jobs. We truly appreciate the support of the community in helping us provide transportation for individuals, thus removing a huge obstacle toward moving forward in their lives.  Thank you!
