She must be well known for her good actions as a woman who has raised children, welcomed strangers, washed the saints’ feet, helped the suffering, and devoted herself to doing good in every way. 1 Timothy 5:10 New International Version.

We are excited to welcome our newest volunteer staff member Virginia.  She has taken on one of the most important opportunities we offer, childcare coordinator.

At Life Bridge Job Corps, those who serve in helping meet the needs of the children of our participants are doing more than babysitting children.  They are providing an opportunity for parents to learn how to be better parents, spouses and employees through Bible studies, learning English, taking computer classes or getting their GEDs so they can get better paying jobs. Additionally they can help their kids with homework and learn how to guide them with the relational skills that are learned through our faith based programs.

Parents who can’t find better paying jobs cannot afford childcare thus hindering them from seeking more education.

If you have a couple of hours per week to devote to helping us provide care for children so parents can improve their educational skills to better serve and provide for their families, please give us a call.

There are day and evening opportunities to serve available.
